| 内容記述 | 本研究では、宮西達也の絵本『おとうさんはウルトラマン』シリーズの構成と象徴についての考察を行う。 本シリーズの絵本は、怪獣を退治するウルトラマンが主人公で、3歳児以上の子どもを読者対象にしている。 宮西達也は、子どもの頃、ウルトラマンを視聴して育った世代である。彼が描く「ウルトラマン」は、「お とうさん」として描かれ、作者自身の投影と読み取れる。そして『おとうさんはウルトラマン おとうさん の育自書』のタイトルにあるように父親としての自分を育て、読者としての父親をも育てる視点でも描いて いるのである。シリーズの概観と作品の構成比較を行い、描かれた父親像を明らかにした。 |

| 内容記述 | This study examines the structure and symbolism of Miyanishi Tatsuya’s picture book series,“ My Dad is Ultraman.” The picture books in this series feature Ultraman, a monster-fighting character, as the main character, and are aimed at readers aged three and above. Miyanishi Tatsuya is from the generation that grew up watching Ultraman as a child. The“ Ultraman” he depicts is a“ father,” and can be read as a projection of the author himself. As the title “My Dad is Ultraman: A Father’s Parenting Book” suggests, he depicts the series from the perspective of nurturing himself as a father, and also nurturing fathers as readers. An overview of the series and a comparison of the structure of the works are provided to clarify the image of fathers depicted. |
