| 内容記述 | オープンキャンパスとは、大学や短期大学、専門学校など高等教育機関が主催となり、学校の雰囲気を はじめとして施設や設備環境を公開する進学イベントを指すことが多い。 主なターゲットは入学を希望、検討している高校生や受験生であるが、近年では保護者や家族を対象と した傾向も見られる。在学生や教職員による見学ツアーや模擬授業、進学相談などの特徴が挙げられ、参 加者は様々な情報収集が可能であり、ミスマッチングを防ぐ側面もある。参加者のアンケート結果や新入 生とのコミュニケーションで得た内容をプロトコル分析すると、オープンキャンパスの参加経験は志望校 の決定に一定の影響を与えるようである。今回はオープンキャンパスの参加者数に注目し、入学者数との 関係性について考察を行った。 相関係数の結果からオープンキャンパス参加人数が増加すれば、入学者数も増加する可能性があるが、 みかけの相関や疑似相関に注意が必要である。 今後は結果の信頼性や信用性を高めるため、併設校や協力可能な他大学の分析、相互相関係数や学科ご とにデータの経年変化を解析する予定である。また、実施時期、回答者の属性（学年、所属など）や参加 回数、保護者や同行者、参加者満足度などをはじめとしたアンケート項目にも注目していきたい。 |

| 内容記述 | An open campus is often an event sponsored by a university or junior college that exposes the school’s facilities and environment to the public. The main targets are high school students and prospective students who wish to enroll. Recently, there has also been a trend towards targeting parents and families. Features include mock classes taught by students and teachers and counseling for higher education. Participants can collect a variety of information and can prevent mismatches. It seems that the experience of participating in an open campus has a certain influence on the decision of the school of choice. This time, we focused on the number of participants in open campus events and analyzed the relationship with the number of enrolled students. If the number of participants in the open campus increases, the number of students enrolled may also increase. However, one must be careful about spurious correlations. In the future, in order to increase the reliability of the results, we plan to analyze changes in data over time for each department. |
