| 内容記述 | 九州女子大学人間科学部人間発達学専攻3年生の合同ゼミにおいて、北九州市門司区大里東地区の子ども 食堂との協働的取り組みを通して、学生が自ら企画し、児童に教育的活動を行うPBLを実践した。実践3年 目となる本年度は、教育効果の分析を行った。その結果、子どもの行動について豊かな仮説的理解を立てる 力の育成および活動の実践に向けて粘り強く考え抜く力の育成に一定の効果がみられた。また、(1)子ども を地域全体で育むという子育て観の拡がりと育みの場としての地域概念への気づき (2)子ども食堂を運営す る大人の存在への気づき (3)保護者をサポートすることが子どもの支援につながるという認識 (4)社会課題 解決の場ではあるが、結果として人と人とのつながりや食の楽しさ、共助が創出される場であることについ ての気づきが得られたことが示唆された。「保護者が食事を提供できないから子ども食堂が必要だ」という 因果論的・焦点的な問題解決観から、共助と社会包摂的な観点がリアリティを持って学生に認識された。 |

| 内容記述 | In a joint seminar for third-year students in Faculty of Humanities at Kyushu Women’s University, students implemented a PBL (Project-Based Learning) program where they initiated and conducted educational activities for children at a community kitchen in Dairi Higashi district of Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City, through collaborative efforts with “Itsutsu no chikara”, the children’s dining room. This year, the third year of the project, an analysis of educational effects was conducted. The results indicated that the program had a certain effect on promoting the development of students’s ability to form rich hypothetical understandings of children’s behavior and to think things through carefully about how they carry out activities. In addition, the following were suggested: (1) The spread of a child-rearing perspective that involves raising children as a community and the realization of the concept of community as a place for nurturing children (2) Awareness of the existence of adults who run children’s dining room (3) Recognition that supporting parents leads to supporting children (4) It was suggested that participants gained an understanding that, while children’s dining rooms are places for solving social issues, they also serve as places where people connect with one another, enjoy eating together, and engage in mutual assistance. The causal and narrowly focused problem-solving perspective that “children’s cafeterias are necessary because parents cannot provide meals” shifted to a more realistic understanding among students of mutual aid and social inclusion. |
